1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth
3 T BBQ sauce (can do spicy)
2 1/2 T brown sugar
1 T honey
2 T rice vinegar
1 T sesame oil
1/4 tsp pepper
2 T cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
2 T olive oil
3 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp ground ginger
Combine soy sauce, broth, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil and pepper. Set aside.
Mix cornstarch and water together, set aside
Cook oil, garlic, and ground ginger over medium heat until oil starts to simmer. Whisk in soy sauce mixture and bring to a boil. Slowly whisk in the cornstarch mixture. Cook for a few minutes until thickened, stirring constantly.
